Hamas TV: Dead Gaza Civilians Privileged to Have Died This Way

Wednesday, July 30th, 2014

JERUSALEM – Hamas’ propaganda machine has been working relentlessly to generate a depiction of the events that suits their objectives in their war on Israel. Using news, multimedia and social media, they have been presenting lies and a distorted account of the events to garner the populations support for their cause.

One of the issues Hamas has been focusing on is an attempt to both justify and console Gaza’s population over the many civilian deaths it has caused in the Gaza war.

While broadcasting gruesome pictures of dead civilians, including children, a TV host explained last week that since in Islam a person’s time of death is predetermined by Allah, the people who have been killed in the recent fighting have actually “gained”: They would have died now anyway, but now they will receive the rewards of Martyrdom – Shahada – in Paradise.

Reporting on this issue, Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) has further documented Hamas’ use of civilians as human shields, which has led to a high civilian death toll. Hamas has instructed Gaza civilians to disregard Israel’s warnings to evacuate areas before they were bombed, and has decried those who have criticized the high civilian death toll.

The glorification of Martyrdom both justifies the Hamas activities that led to these deaths and also may console the population. In addition, this message may persuade civilians to continue endangering their lives by protecting Hamas terrorists and their terror infrastructure with their bodies.

Recently, PMW reported on a sermon by the former Palestinian Authority Minister of Religious Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Habbash, who likewise glorified Martyrdom death as something to which Palestinians should aspire.

Hamas TV host said last week:

“Every soul has its time. These people – their time had come, and they were Martyred (i.e., Gaza civilians killed in war). They have gained [Paradise]. They have nothing in this world, especially in the Gaza Strip. There’s no life in the Gaza Strip. What life can we have in the Gaza Strip? Being with Allah is better. Being with Allah is better. What we see is very hard but we won’t surrender, Allah willing. The first to say it are the Martyrs’ family. The first to say it are the Martyrs’ mothers and fathers… Don’t be disturbed by these images. He who was killed this way doesn’t feel. By Allah, he does not feel. These are not my words, but the words of our beloved Prophet [Muhammad]: He who is Martyred doesn’t feel. Only we suffer by these images. By Allah, [the Martyr] doesn’t feel. His soul has ascended to Allah. His soul is with the Lord. His soul is inside a green bird. He is with Allah now. He is in Paradise. Only we suffer by these images… In other cities, in other countries, thousands die in earthquakes, floods, plane crashes, in ferry or shipwrecks, in natural or unnatural disasters. Thousands die. Thousands die but we don’t know what their fate is with Allah. But we [in Gaza] are Martyrs. The enemy has killed us and we are Martyrs.”

The IDF has finally bombed Hamas TV and radio yesterday. In a sense, it may have been a life saving mission for the Gazans as well, who will not be influenced by these deadly messages anymore.

MK to European envoys: “Day When Islamic Terror Will Reach Your Homes is Near”

Tuesday, July 29th, 2014

JERUSALEM – The Danish, Swedish and Dutch ambassadors to Israel, as well as officials from the embassies of Britain, Belgium, Italy, Hungary, Austria and Germany took part on Monday (Jul. 28) in an urgent meeting of the Knesset Immigration, Absorption and Diaspora Affairs Committee on the situation of Jewish communities in Europe.

MK Yisrael Hasson (Kadima), a former deputy director of the Shin Bet internal security service, told the ambassadors: “NATO bombed 5,000 civilians in Kosovo just because it was insulted; 27,000 Iraqi civilians were bombed during the American invasion because they posed a danger to the US; there is not a country in the world that can talk to us about morality.”

MK Hasson told the foreign envoys that, “If the European countries fail to protect the Jews within their territory, the State of Israel will. Jewish blood is not cheap blood.” He further warned that, “If you do not stand by our side, the day when Islamic terror will reach your homes, your beds and your kindergartens will come soon.”

MK Shimon Ohayon (Yisrael Beitenu) addressed the pro-Palestinian protests across Europe and said Israel is fighting “the war of the free and enlightened world against the darkness of Islam.” According to Ohayon, had the world truly been concerned about the violence, “We would have seen protests all over Europe against the terrible acts being committed in Syria, where some 200,000 people have been raped and butchered.”

MK Avraham Michaeli (Shas) noted that a quarter of the patients who are being treated at the hospital in Safed were injured in the civil war in Syria.

Representatives of the Jewish communities in Europe, who arrived in Israel with the help of the Israeli Jewish Congress, spoke about their sense of insecurity. “Calls of `death to Jews` and `burn the Jews in gas chambers` are heard regularly on the streets,” one representative said.

Nathan Gelbert, a Jewish resident of Berlin, said the city has seen “severe pro-Palestinian demonstrations” since the IDF launched Operation ‘Protective Edge’ in Gaza. “These protesters don`t know how to say `hello` in German, but they know very well how to shout that Israel is fascist and cruel,” he said.

The European envoys condemned the anti-Semitic attacks in their countries and described the tools their governments use to combat the phenomenon. A representative of the French embassy in Tel Aviv said his country pledges”zero tolerance for displays of anti-Semitism, adding that “every attack on France`s Jews is an attack on all of France.” France, he said, has beefed up security around the Jewish communities even before the recent anti-Israel demonstrations. “France is not denying that there is a problem. The French government`s efforts against acts of racism will gradually increase,” said the official.

Dutch Ambassador to Israel Caspar Veldkamp noted that his country`s attorney general has opened cases against 40-50 people who participated in a radical demonstration and chanted anti-Semitic slogans. “The acts of anti-Semitism call for strong measures; otherwise we will all slide down the slope. Europe should have exported a position of mutual respect rather than import the hate and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict,” he told the meeting.

Danish Ambassador Jesper Vahr said: “As an ally and as a country we will not tolerate anti-Semitism. but Denmark, as a country that respects freedom of speech, allows people to express their objection to actions taking place on the ground. My government`s position is that Israel has a right to defend itself.”

Absorption Committee Chairman MK Yoel Razvozov (Yesh Atid) said a distinction must be made between freedom of expression and incitement. The European countries must protect the Jews within their territory,” he said, “Otherwise, terror will eventually reach you.”

Hamas’ Operation Death Wish’: Rockets Fired from Cemetery [video]

Sunday, July 27th, 2014

IDF aerial footage has caught Hamas terrorists launching rockets on Israel from a cemetery.

Hamas apparently has run out of schools, mosque and hospitals to use as terrorist bases, or its martyrs have completed their round of 72 virgins.

Mother of ‘Pious’ Kidnapper Proud of Him ‘Until Judgment Day’ (Video)

Tuesday, July 1st, 2014

The mother of one of the Hamas terrorists who kidnapped and murdered three Israeli teenagers says is “proud of him until Judgment Day,” according to YouTube posted by Palestinian Media Watch and which it said was shown on Israeli television.

“My boys are all righteous, pious and pure. The goal of my children is the triumph of Islam,” she added.

The Palestinian Authority never has been interested in “compromise” with Israel, not on Judea, Gaza and Samaria and not on Jerusalem.

It has ostensibly bargained on  borders for 20 years but never has agreed to anything because, as the terrorist’s mother said and as official Palestinian Authority maps show, there are not borders for Israel.

Iran’s Mahmud Ahmadinejad has said he wants to “wipe Israel” off the map.” The Palestinian Authority’s strategy is to do so by stating that Israel exists – for now, but never as a “Jewish state.”

Ultimately, as its official documents show, there will be no State of Israel.

When international “experts,” otherwise known as the European Union, the United Nations and the U.S. State Dept., say that Israel is an “obstacle to peace,” they encourage the camouflaged Islamic problem with Israel which they view as an obstacle to a global Islamic empire.

‘Brother’s Keeper’ Day 12: Fewer Arrests, More Sites Searched

Tuesday, June 24th, 2014

As Operation Brother’s Keeper approaches the end of its second week, IDF troops are making fewer arrests and widening their search.

Just four fugitives were arrested Monday night as IDF soldiers meticulously searched for the teens. But more than 120 sites – most of them private homes – were raided in Hevron and its surrounds. On Sunday night, at least 37 arrests were made.

Meanwhile, United Nations political affairs chief Jeffrey Feltman weighed in on Monday, warning Israel to “exercise restraint” in its search.

“As the search for the missing youths continues, we call for restraint in carrying out the security operations in strict compliance with international law, and avoiding punishing individuals for offenses they have not personally committed,” he said. “The rising death toll as a result of Israeli security operations in the West Bank is alarming,” he told the U.N. Security Council at its monthly meeting on the Middle East. Feltman expressed concerns over the possibility of a third intifada starting against Israel by PA Arabs.

So far, the troops have searched 1,800 buildings for 19 year old Eyal Yifrach, and 16 year old Naftali Frenkel and Gilad Sha’ar. In the process, they came up with the accused murderer of Judea and Samaria Police Commissioner Baruch Mizrachi. The accused is a terrorist who was released early from prison as part of the prisoner exchange deal that returned former IDF soldier Gilad Shalit to his family two and a half years ago. Shalit was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists in a cross border raider near the Kerem Shalom crossing, and held captive for more than five years. Israel freed more than 1,000 Palestinian Authority Arab terrorists, including hundreds of murderers with Jewish blood on their hands, in order to rescue him.

But the troops have yet to find the three kidnapped boys they are now searching for. Their second goal – neutralizing Hamas in Judea and Samaria – is also part of the continuing operation. More than 360 Hamas terrorists have been arrested in the past 12 days, including at least 60 who were released in the Shalit prisoner exchange deal. Those will be remanded for separate court hearings to determine whether they have violated the terms of the pledges they signed upon their release — and if so, each will return to prison resume serving the remainder of their sentences.

A third goal has also been added to the operation: beefing up defenses for Israeli residents of Judea and Samaria so their daily routine will no longer be disrupted by security issues.

The upcoming Islamic holiday of Ramadan, a month-long daytime fast observed by religious Muslims, is one the IDF is taking into consideration as well. “It is important for us to maintain routine relations with the Palestinians in whose communities we are carrying out our searches,” said a security source. “Ramadan is no obstacle, and we will continue to do whatever is necessary to track down the boys, with due consideration for the local population.”

Operation ‘Brother’s Keeper’ #11: 37 Arrests, 80 Sites Checked, 7 Hamas Closures

Monday, June 23rd, 2014

It’s the 11th day of Operation Brother’s Keeper, since 19 year old Eyal Yifrach, 16 year old Naftali Frenkel and 16 year old Gilad Sha’ar were kidnapped by Arab terrorists.

Thousands of soldiers are out around the clock, searching for the kidnapped boys and putting pressure on the terror organization behind the abduction, Hamas. But they haven’t found them yet. Terrorism experts have assured journalists that the boys are “still alive… That’s the working assumption.”

Sunday night and the wee hours of Monday morning were spent hunting down and arresting 37 Palestinian Authority unity government fugitives in Hevron, El Aroub, Shechem, Tulkarem and Jenin. The process was not an easy one: each came at the cost of violent encounters with rioters as the IDF soldiers came to take the terrorists into custody. Since the operation began, more than 360 terrorists have been taken into custody — most of them members of Hamas.

Seven organizations linked to Hamas in various locations around Hevron and in Jenin were shut down, and eighty separate sites were searched meticulously for some sign of the kidnapped boys.

Hundreds of illegal weapons have been confiscated over the past 10 days, and IDF soldiers found numerous previously unknown tunnels and bunkers dug under Arab homes in Hevron.

Late Sunday night, Gaza-based Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh praised the terrorists, saying “the youth of the West Bank have restored honor to the intifada, the greatest legacy in history.”

Haniyeh’s Ramallah-based partner in the PA unity government, Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas, said at his office in the Samaria PA capital the kidnapping was “unjustified and unacceptable.” He added that Israelis should see Palestinians in the same way, and realize they are “human beings like them.”

The Islamic holiday of Ramadan – in which observant Muslims fast during the daylight hours for the entire month – is due to begin shortly. However, Israeli defense officials say they do not intend to relieve the pressure until the boys are found.

Abduction Just Part of ‘Glorious’ Week for Islam

Monday, June 16th, 2014

Australian commentator Andrew Bolt, a columnist for the Herald Sun tabloid in Melbourne, is no stranger to controversy. His strident criticism of Islam and his conservative stance on domestic issues (and, it should be noted, his consistent support of Israel) has won him the scorn of the left-hand side of the local political map.

But let it not be said that Bolt is one to criticise without citation. While it would be hard to argue that Bolt has any soft spot for the Religion of Peace, he certainly takes pains to back his assertion that the Religion of Peace is perhaps the deadliest force on the planet today.

So for those of you who thought the gallant abduction of Jewish children was the Islamic highlight of the week, here is an excerpt from Bolt’s post, What is Wrong with this Religion?

In Kenya:  At least 34 people have been killed after unidentified armed men stormed the coastal city of Mpeketoni, setting hotels, restaurants, banks and government offices on fire and spraying bullets in streets.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said … an offensive by ISIS in eastern Syria against rival Islamic rebel factions has killed more than 640 people and uprooted at least 130,000 since the end of April.

In Spain:  Spanish police arrested eight people in a pre-dawn raid in Madrid on Monday, breaking up a jihadist recruitment network led by a former Guantanamo Bay inmate, the government said…

Spain’s government has said it fears battle-hardened Islamist fighters may return to Spain from Syria… Spain this year marked the 10th anniversary of the March 11, 2004 Al Qaeda-inspired bombing of four packed commuter trains in Madrid, which killed 191 people.

In Belgium: The fourth person to die after a gunman opened fire on the Jewish Museum in Brussels was to be buried in a Muslim cemetery in Morocco.

Alexandre Strens, whose mother is Jewish and father a Muslim Berber, was to be buried near his grandparents’ graves in the cemetery in Taza, north-east Morocco… A suspect, Mehdi Nemmouche, was arrested in Marseille, southern France, 11 days ago …

In Indonesia:  Radical Islamists in Indonesia have been celebrating and swearing allegiance to ISIS on line, raising concerns that more potential terrorists will be attracted to the conflicts in Iraq and Syria… Jakarta-based terrorism expert Sidney Jones says Indonesians are known to be fighting in Syria, and that Indonesians attracted to ISIS are more radical than the Bali bombers.

In Sudan: The retired Libyan general Khalifa Heftar who is leading the military campaign dubbed as ‘Operation Dignity’ against Islamist militias accused Sudan directly of providing aid to these groups… Heftar says that these militias have wreaked havoc in the North African nation.

In China:  China today sentenced three people to death over a deadly attack at Beijing’s Tiananmen Square last October, state television reported, an incident blamed by the government on Islamist militants….
