In a painting produced recently, at the end of 2019 and beginning of 2020, Gasparro depicted the fraudulent “blood libel” ritual murder of Christian baby Simon of Trent that triggered the 1475 murder of 15 Jews. He posted images of his work on the internet during the Coronavirus Pandemic of 2020. The target of this internet attack was Dexter Van Zile, Shillman Research Fellow for Boston-based Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis (CAMERA).

Really, when you think about it, what's so great about returning to 'normal'? Crime, terrorism, depravity, homelessness, high housing costs, a political cesspool, ...and the lack of the Holy Temple. If we come out of this coronavirus outbreak and painful quarantine we have to endure, only to go back to a 'normal' messed up world, then what did we suffer for? Why did G-d let this happen, and why didn't we learn anything from it? Also, how might the workplace change after the virus subsides?

I am not familiar, and neither is my rabbi, with a Jewish view that says an older person is deserving of a lesser medical or other attention than a younger person based on their age difference alone.

Orthodox Rabbi Kenneth Brander, the dean of the Israel’s Ohr Torah Stone network of institutions, said while cremation is normally considered a “desecration” in Judaism, if it helps save a life during this time it would be “a mitzvah that the deceased is doing posthumously.”
