Palestinian Authority Arabs Hurl Firebomb at Jews at Yosef’s Tomb

Thursday, June 18th, 2015

Palestinian Authority Arab terrorists hurled a firebomb at Yosef’s Tomb (Kever Yosef) Wednesday night as 1,500 Jews were arriving from all over the country for prayers marking the beginning of the month of Tammuz.

The Molotov cocktail hit one of dozens of parked buses that had brought worshippers to the holy site.

No one was injured and no damage was reported, but in subsequent clashes, the IDF shot and wounded two rioters.

Like Kassam rockets that land in “open areas” and rock throwing at Jewish motorists who are not hit, the firebombing attack was reported only on the Hareidi Kikar Shabbat website.

Kever Yosef is one of the holy places specifically designated in the Oslo Accords – remember them? – that guarantees Jewish access. That ended almost 15 years ago when the Israeli government allowed the Palestinian Authority to take over the holy site, which was desecrated dozens of times before someone in the IDF finally listened to Jewish leaders in Samaria and decided that perhaps they have a right to pray there.

This is an old story that is repeated over and over, but it is far more significant today, when Israeli political and religious leaders are fighting each over who can get the biggest headline to condemn the band of Jewish idiots who tried to burn down a church on the shores of Kinneret early Thursday morning.

The condemnation was necessary and not out of proportion. Whenever a Jew desecrates a place of worship, he violates Jewish law and Israeli law and needs to be locked up.

The firebomb at Kever Yosef was not shoved to “news briefs” because of the arson. It simply was not reported at all.

This just shows how much the world expect Jews to behave as God told them to behave and how much the world accepts Arab intolerance as a fact of life, which it is.

Arabs Imitate Ancient Greeks and Vandalize Joseph’s Tomb

Monday, December 22nd, 2014

More than 1,000 Jews visiting Joseph’s Tomb (Kever Yosef) in Shechem Sunday night discovered that Palestinian Authority Arabs vandalized the holy site for the umpteenth time.

The vandals destroyed the electric system, but the Jews, under IDF protection, lit a menorah on the sixth night of Hanukkah, which commemorates the victory of the Maccabeans over the Greek conquerors who desecrated the Holy Temple nearly 2000 years ago.

Israel surrendered open access to Joseph’s Tomb in 2001 after a terrorist attack, allowing a violation of the Oslo Accords protecting the rights of all religions to visit holy sites to become an accepted principle.

Leftists and plain President Obama-Arabs read the news differently.

The “Alternative News. Org” website reported, “1,000 Israelis raided the northern West Bank area of Nablus [Shechem] Sunday night to pray at Joseph’s Tomb, located on the outskirts of the city….

“Joseph’s Tomb is located in Area A of the West Bank, under full security and administrative control of the Palestinian Authority (PA). Although entry into Joseph’s Tomb requires permission and coordination with the PA, the Israeli civilians and troops entered without either.”

Every time a Jew visits the Temple Mount or Joseph’s Tomb, and soon the Dead Sea can be added to the list, it is a “raid.”

As for the report that they entered without permission, the IDF told The Jewish Press Monday morning that simply is not true. “There was coordination,” a spokeswoman said.

Alternative News also conveniently omitted the wording of the Oslo Accords that specifically reserves the rights of Jews to visit Joseph’s Tomb, among others, and requires “both sides shall respect and protect the listed below religious rights of Jews, Christians, Moslems and Samaritans.”

Peres: Israel Won’t Tolerates Attacks on Holy (Christian) Sites

Monday, December 30th, 2013

President Shimon Peres delivered a Christian New Year’s message enthusiastically proclaiming that Israel “will continue to guarantee access to holy sites for all” in the wake of recent “price tag” attacks on Christian sites.

“There is no place for violence in our society, even more so when it targets people or places of faith,” he said in remarks that have not been heard often, if it all, following official Palestinian Authority policies to obstruct Jews from praying at holy sites in Judea and Samaria.

President Peres hosted a reception on Monday at his residence in Jerusalem for the heads of the Christian denominations in Israel and said, “The State of Israel will not tolerate aggression against members of the clergy. I feel angry at the insults some religious leaders in Israel have faced recently. Israel has always been and will always remain committed to freedom of worship, freedom of religion.”

That is not entirely true. Jews are not free to pray on the Temple Mount; they need armed escorts to pray at Joseph’s Tomb (Kever Yosef) in Shechem; they often are victims of rock throwing at Rachel’s Tomb (Kever Rachel), despite its being surrounded by a wall; anti-Semitic vandalism often takes place at the Patriarchs’ Cave (Ma’arah HaMachpela) in Hevron; and the ancient synagogue in Jericho is usually out of bounds.

Any Jew trying to visit the ancient synagogue in Samoa, in the southern Hevron Hills, would leave in a coffins, or if lucky, on a stretcher.

Peres again offered his solution to the problems between Arabs and Jews. Just give the Arabs what they want, and there will be peace.

“Our peace talks with the Palestinians are ongoing; they are the greatest promise for our people and for the Palestinians,” in remarked. “An agreement between us can bring a change in the relations between Jews and Muslims and between all faiths.”

At least this time he said an agreement “can” bring peace instead of stating it “will” bring peace, just like every other agreement the past decades only brought war.

Greek Orthodox Patriarch His Beatitude Theophilos III told the invited guests on behalf of the Christian leader, “We take this opportunity to express our appreciation in particular to you, Mr. President for the determined and strong voice that you have been raising in condemning the wave of ‘Price Tag’ crimes in our country, and especially in Jerusalem….

“In order to avoid repeating the mistakes of bitter experience, there is more that can be done, both to facilitate access to the Holy Places for pilgrims from a distance as well as from our local communities.”

Of course, he did not remind anyone that until 1967, when Israel took back sovereignty of Judea and Samaria and all of Jerusalem after nearly 2,000 years and opened all holy sites to all religions, they were closed under the Jordanian occupation.

IDF Arrests PA Security Officers Who Murdered Jew

Wednesday, May 22nd, 2013

Israeli soldiers on Tuesday arrested three Palestinian Authority security officers who murdered 24-year-old Ben-Yosef Livnat at Joseph’s Tomb two years ago but spent only one year in a PA jail before being freed.

An IDF investigation of the incident confirmed Palestinian Authority claims that Livnat and other Jews tried to enter the holy Jewish site without coordinating with the military but added that the Palestinian Authority security officers “fired deliberately and with intention to harm the worshipers.”

Tuesday’s arrests were carried out by the IDF in Samaria. The Palestinian Authority had refused an Israeli request in 2011 to turn them over to the IDF.
