Arab Rock-Throwers Injure Baby

Palestinian Authority rock-throwing terrorists wounded a baby near the community of Maaleh Levunah in Samaria Tuesday might. Her father, who was behind the wheel, continued driving, and the baby was treated at Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus for light injuries.

Another motorist was pelted with rocks near Tekoa, in eastern Gush Etzion, after he stopped his car because of an accident.

Terrorists attacked a vehicle with a firebomb near Neguhot, south of Hebron, but no injuries or damage was reported. Further south, several vehicles sustained damage from rocks at the Zif junction, near the city of Yatta, on Highway 60 between Kiryat Arba-Hebron and Arad. The area has been relatively quiet for months until the latest escalation of violence.

Near the Tapuach Junction in Samaria, Border Police foiled a stabbing attack. They grabbed a terrorist when he refused to obey orders to stop for inspection. He dropped a knife, and officers found a second knife in his possession.

At Har Adar, near the security fence, Border Police shot and wounded an Arab in the leg during a riot near the rear entrance to the community.

Palestinian Authority media reported that 129 Arabs were injured in clashes on Tuesday, but the numbers usually are exaggerated and often include people who were hurt in home and work accidents. A spokesman for the Red Crescent told the Ma’an News Agency that soldiers wounded eight rioters with live fire and 23 others with rubber bullets,

It added that the Palestinian Authority “has warned that “attacks by Israeli soldiers and settlers indicate the Israeli government is deliberately creating a situation of violence and instability that threatens to spiral out of control.”

Arabs Attack Jewish Hikers on Jerusalem Day

A Jewish hiking club came under attack by Arabs in Jerusalem’s Shiloach (Silwan) neighborhood.

The club, Amitim L’tiyulim, one of the largest hiking clubs in Israel, with over 10,000 members, began their hike at Jerusalem’s Ammunition Hill, going through Mount Scopus and ending at Sultan’s Pool.

The club hikes all over the country.

Every week they pick a new trail, in which to discover and investigate the land of Israel.

But as the 240 hikers in this particular trek crossed through the Shiloach neighborhood, in the old Yemenite village, they were attacked by Arab stone throwers, and one hiker, Yaakov Lubeton (32) suffered a head injury.

The group called for a paramedic, who treated the injured man, and Border Police also arrived to secure the area.

Amit Ararat, one of the founders of the hiking club, told JewishPress.com that despite the attack, the group decided to carry on, and they continued with their hike to discover and investigate Jerusalem.

4:40pm The injured Israeli is an IDF soldier, who was on his way home. He was seriously injured.

4:28pm Ongoing manhunt for terrorist who shot at a Bus Stop Shelter near the Har HaZofim Tunnel entrance. Terrorist shot an Israeli in the stomach, ran a hundred meters away where he was picked up by a motorcycle. The terrorists fled to the nearby Wadi Jos Eastern Jerusalem neighborhood. Helicopters overhead in Jerusalem.

4:20pm Breaking News: Israeli civilian moderately wounded by gunfire in Jerusalem near the Har HaTzofim/Mount Scopus tunnel entrance. The shooting happened near the hitchhiking post.

Police are in a manhunt after the alleged terrorist shooter who was riding a motorcycle.

Firebombs Thrown at Dance Club near Hebrew U.

Jerusalem Arabs hurled several firebombs were thrown at a dance club next to Hebrew University’s Mount Scopus campus in French Hill , injuring one person.

Three Arab youths from the adjoining neighborhood of Isawiya were arrested.

Anniversary of Rechavam “Gandhi” Ze’evi’s Assasination

On October 17, 2011, Palestinian terrorists shot and killed Israeli Minister Rechavam “Gandhi” Ze’evi. Ze’evi was the founder of the right-wing Moledet party, and a strong advocate for finding and returning home Israel’s missing soldiers.

In 1974 Ze’evi retired from the IDF with the rank of Major General.

Among his other many accomplishments were his extensive and well-researched writings on the Land of Israel and as director of the Eretz Yisrael Museum.

Ze’evi was born in Jerusalem on June 20, 1926.

Ze’evi was killed in his Jerusalem Hyatt hotel room on Mount Scopus by Palestinian terrorists. The terrorists fled to the Palestinian Authority were they were given safe haven. Eventually the IDF captured them, and they were given life sentences in prison.
