The court said that since Tamimi is a minor, a trial behind closed doors is “in her best interests.”
The Palestinian Authority claims Israel has violated international law by arresting and detaining soldier-slapper Ahed Tamimi.
"NGOs cannot have it both ways: arguing she is treated too harshly for a 16-year old, but lauding her for intentional provocation against soldiers.”
Among the detainees, according to Arab sources, is a relative of the girl Ahad Tamimi, who was arrested in Nabi Saleh.
Tamimi, whose age has been the focus of a great deal of media attention, was charged with 12 counts for six separate incidents.
Apparently the duo carried out the attacks "as a result of their families' rejection of the engagement.
"The long arm of Israeli security forces, operating in cooperation, will track down anyone who engages or intends to engage in terror."
Palestinian Arab terrorists opened fire in a drive-by attack on IDF soldiers stationed near Nabi Saleh in Samaria.
These restrictions placed on the soldiers result from international pressure as well as campaigns
initiated by radical left-wing Israeli NGOs.
