EU Condemns Boys’ Murders But Urges ‘Restraint of All Parties’

Tuesday, July 1st, 2014

European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, who dragged her heels interminably on issuing a condemnation when three Israeli teens were kidnapped by Arab terrorists 19 days ago in Gush Etzion, hurried to condemn their murders after their bodies were found together in a field located in Halhul, an Arab village smack in the middle of the Palestinian Authority.

The connection was inescapable – this crime was committed by Palestinian Authority Arab terrorists, with the cooperation and collaboration of PA Arab villagers.

“We learned with profound sorrow that the bodies of the three Israeli youths who were kidnapped on 12 June in the West Bank were found on 30 June near Hebron,” read the statement released by Ashton’s representative on Tuesday. “We condemn in the strongest terms their killing. We express our sincere condolences to their families and friends and share their grief. We trust the perpetrators of this barbaric act will swiftly be brought to justice.”

Nevertheless, Ashton could not stop herself from reminding Israel to exercise caution when dealing with the PA.

“We call for restraint of all parties concerned in order not to further aggravate the fragile situation on the ground,” the statement concluded.

Israeli Court Rejects Appeal by 6 Hamas ‘Shalitnik’ Recidivists

Wednesday, June 25th, 2014

Israel is seeking to return to prison 54 Palestinian Authority Arab terrorists released as a result of the prisoner exchange deal that freed former IDF soldier Gilad Shalit two and a half years ago, The Jerusalem Post reports.

The High Court of Justice on Wednesday rejected the emergency petitons of six Hamas terrorists arrested during searches carried out as part of Operation Brother’s Keeper in the past two weeks. The fugitives were hoping to cancel their remand until evidence was brought to justify the arrests.

The court decided, however, that the six will remain in prison pending a final determination of their status and whether they violated a pledge they signed at their early release.

Shalit was kidnapped in a cross-border raid by Hamas and allied terrorists near the Kerem Shalom crossing with Gaza in 2006, and held captive for more than five years.

He was freed only after Israel agreed to free more than 1,000 terrorists from its prisons, including several hundred murderers with Jewish blood on their hands.

The freed terrorists were required to sign documents listing conditions they agreed to live by in exchange for their early release. Violation of those agreements was to result in a return to jail to serve the remainder of their sentences.

At Wednesday’s hearing, Justice Neal Hendel wrote the decision on behalf of the three-judge panel that included Supreme Court President and Judge Asher D. Grunis, and Judge Noam Sohlberg. The attorney for the defense was the Hon. Avigdor Feldman.

Arab Terror Attack Foiled by Israel Police

Thursday, May 15th, 2014

Four Palestinian Authority Arabs were caught red-handed this week with homemade explosives and firebombs (Molotov cocktails).

The weapons were discovered during a body search of the would-be terrorists after they were stopped at the Tapuach Junction in Samaria.

The suspects were arrested on Wednesday (on the minor Jewish holiday of Pesach sheni) and taken for questioning.
