Terem Medical Center Gets Enraged Arab Letter About Their Israeli Flags

Thursday, May 14th, 2015

The staff at the Terem Medical Center, a network of private immediate care medical clinics, found by Dr. David Applebaum HY”D, were surprised when the Armon HaNetziv branch in Jerusalem received a letter from an angry Arab woman they apparently treated, according to a mynet report by Moshe Heller.

The Arab Jerusalemite wrote that she was upset that the Terem Medical Center had Israeli flags hanging for Israel’s Independence Day.

She claimed it hurt her sensitive feelings and the feeling of other Arabs visiting the medical center, including the Arab doctors and medical staff who work in Terem and identify with the “Palestinian-Arab minority”.

In the letter, the wounded Arab wrote, “The clinic serves all people without differentiating between religion, race or nationality, and therefore, it is inappropriate that dozens of the Israeli-Jewish national flags were hung in the clinic.”

The Terem Medical Center was founded in 1989 by Dr. David Applebaum HY”D — an incredible human being and Jew.

Dr. Applebaum and his daughter Naava were murdered by Arab terrorists on September 9, 2003, when an Arab suicide bomber blew up a Jerusalem cafe the night before Naava was to get married.

Dr. Applebaum was also the chief of emergency room and trauma services at Shaare Tzedek hospital.

He revolutionized the treatment of victims of Arab suicide bombings.

Terem treats over 400,000 people annually all over the country, and as the letter writer said, without discrimination, not towards the medical staff, and not towards the patients.

While no one at Terem would ever say it, I will.

If this Arab letter writer isn’t happy with the Israeli flags in this Israeli medical center founded by a Jewish doctor murdered by Arab terrorists, then she should go find some Arab medical center that will treat her. We can recommend one in Syria.

My blood is boiling.

Meet: Dating App Verona: the ‘Fun Way for Israelis and Palestinians to Connect’ (and Intermarry)

Wednesday, May 13th, 2015

On January 17, 2001, Palestinian Authority Arabs from the Tanzim faction of Fatah killed 16-year-old Israeli high school student Ofir Rahum on the outskirts of Ramallah.

The murder was planned by 24-year-old Mona Jaud Awana from Bir Nabala. Mona pretended to be “Sali”, who met and connected with Ofir Rahum via the Internet.

After many months during which Mona/Sali conducted long, private conversations in English with Rahum using ICQ, she gained his confidence and asked him to meet her in Jerusalem.

When he arrived, she drove him to the outskirts of Ramallah, where the lovelorn Rahum was then shot at close range by members of her terror cell, fifteen times, while Mona/Sali watched.

Mona/Sali, by the way, had been present at the Ramallah lynching, and what she saw there “excited” her, and that’s when she began trolling for Israelis on the Internet to kill them.

This was their last Internet conversation:

ofir 15/01/01 i don’t know if iI have enough to come back to ashkelon

sali 15/01/01 16:04 i told you I will bring you back to tel aviv in my friends car but she will be with us..is it ok coz I am afraid to drive at night

sali 15/0101 16:35 you don’t know how much I am waiting for wednesday but we have to say bye till wednesday

ofir 15/01/01 16:35 bye

sali 15/01/01 16:35 love you dear

I thought about that story this morning, when someone told me about a new dating app that wants to promote “world peace” and intermarriage by introducing Israelis and “Palestinians”.

“Verona is how Israelis & Palestinians can connect and find love,” declares the landing page for the new app on Google Play.

You start by identifying yourself as either Israeli or Palestinian and then starts the assimilation process where the Holy Land can then become one, big happy family.

While Ofir Rahum was was the first association that popped into mind (though presumably far from the minds of the creators of this app), intermarriage was the second association I made (and that definitely was on the mind of the creators of Verona dating app).

Intermarriage is a bad thing, in of itself. But in Israel, it sometimes goes beyond just marrying out.

There have been numerous cases of very young Israeli (Jewish) girls being seduced into dating and then eloping with their Arab suitors.

Once they’re in their husband’s control, in his village, usually their treatment changes radically, they are forced into a life of servitude, and often suffer beatings. Sometimes they’re not even the only wife.

They remain trapped, even as their parents spend their waking hours searching for them.

Their stories are published almost exclusively by Israel’s right-wing press, often after a successful rescue mission by organizations such as Yad L’Achim, when the trapped girl is ready to escape.

IMHO, I suspect the main users of this dating app will be foreign lefty activists who want to identify themselves as “Palestinians” (they’d surely never identify themselves as Israelis) and meet real “Palestinians” (hah!), and some radical left-wing Israelis in Tel Aviv who also want to meet “Palestinians”, but without having to dirty themselves by crossing the Green Line. Let them all have each other.

Unfortunately, I’m very concerned for the young, naive Israeli who might end up needing Yad L’Achim’s services because of this app.

I’d wish these app-maker success, except that I don’t. I hope they fail.

Netanyahu Praises Jenin Raid to Arrest a Terrorist that Left 3 Terrorists Dead

Sunday, March 23rd, 2014

JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the security forces that took part in an operation in Jenin to arrest a Hamas terrorist, which left the suspect and at least two others dead.

“Our policy is to attack those who attack us and who are planning to attack us. Both were applicable in this case,” Netanyahu said Sunday at the beginning of the regular weekly Cabinet meeting.

The suspected terrorist was identified by the Israel Defense Forces as Hamza Abu Alhija, who was wanted for involvement in shooting and bombing attacks as well as planning future terror attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers, the IDF said in a statement.

During the early Saturday morning raid, forces from the Police Special Anti-Terror Unit, the IDF and the Shin Bet security service tried to arrest Abu Alhija, who barricaded himself in his home with other Hamas operatives, according to the IDF.

Abu Alhija then opened fire at the Israeli forces, wounding two security personnel, and then attempted to escape while continuing to shoot. The security forces responded with live gunfire, killing him.

During a riot that erupted at the scene, during which Palestinians from Jenin threw rocks, fire bombs, and explosives at the Israeli forces, the Israeli troops responded with live fire, killing at least two other Arabs, identified as belonging to Islamic Jihad and the Al-Aksa Martyrs’ Brigades, the military wing of the ruling Fatah Party.

Two Israeli security forces were injured in the incident.

Three Palestinian terrorist groups – Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the Al-Aksa Martyrs’ Brigades – issued a joint statement warning that they will take revenge on Israel and the Palestinian Authority for the deaths.

“The resistance in the West Bank is alive and won’t die, and the Zionist enemy can’t guess from where the resistance will attack. The blood of Jenin Martyrs won’t go in vain,” the groups said in a statement, according to the Times of Israel.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ office condemned the incident, and called it an “escalation” by Israel. The statement also called on the United States to get involved before the teetering peace negotiations are completely “ruined.”

Third Wave of Arab Terrorists Released by Israel

Tuesday, December 31st, 2013

Overnight Israel released 26 murdering terrorists due to US pressure and Palestinian Authority demands.

Three of the terrorists were released to Gaza, 18 to the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah, and five to eastern Jerusalem, including one to the Old City of Jerusalem.

Appeals by bereaved families were unable to block the move.

These 26 terrorists had murdered approximately 100 people, Jews and Arabs, and wounded more in their various terror attacks.

A fourth release of more terrorists is expected within a few months.

Israeli-Arab Terrorists to be Released

Sunday, December 29th, 2013

The terror victims association Almagor claims that on the list of terrorists to be released tomorrow are terrorists who are also Israeli citizens, according to a report in Arutz-7.

The organization says this goes against the promise made to them, that at least Arab terrorists who are also Israeli citizens would be released to the Palestinian Authority during this prisoner release.

Almagor is preparing a petition to the Supreme Court to block the release of those Arab terrorists they claim are also Israeli citizens.

Complete Victims List Proves Tzipi Livni Releasing Post-Oslo Killers

Monday, October 28th, 2013

Israel is set to release in the coming days 26 terrorists who killed Israeli citizens. Of the 26 terrorists set to be freed, 21 came from Judea and Samaria, and 5 from Gaza. Most committed their terror attacks before Oslo, and served sentences ranging from 19 to 28 years.

A point being repeated by Israeli official sources and is being echoed by all the local news media is that all those prisoners to be released committed their murders against innocents civilians before the Oslo agreement was signed. The idea must be that, had those killers been aware of a peace treaty with the “Jewish apes” they would have refrained from murdering them and possibly limited their aggression to table tennis and long hikes along the green line.

Except that — oops — the first Oslo accords were signed in Washington DC on Sepember 13, 1993, and Israel’s official list of the victims of Palestinian murder includes these two Jewish men:

Issac Rosenberg (67). Murdered March 29, 1994 by 2 terrorists with an ax. Murdered while working in Petach Tikva. Murdered after Oslo. Left behind a wife and son.

Yigal Vaknin (22). Murdered September 24, 1993, in Batzra, near Raanana. Stabbed to death. Murdered after Oslo. Left behind parents and eight brothers and sisters.

(Thanks to Moshe Matitya for the h/t.)

Can it be true? Is it possible that the Netanyahu-Livni peace dealers are lying to the public? We at the Jewish Pres online refuse to believe such an insinuation, and are certain that the murderers of these two blameless Jews were included by mistake. And now, that it’s become clear that their pending release is rooted in an error, the government will make sure to inform the prison authority and take them back to their cells.

Because our government is decent and democratic and would never, ever lie to us!

Another reason we know this must be a mistake, has to do with the rebuke that chief negotiator Tzipi Livni has sent Naftali Bennett’s way, telling him he was cynically attempting to destroy a process that the government has already approved and is on its way. Someone claiming the high moral ground, like Minister Tzipi Livni, could not possibly lie about the dates when the prisoners she’s releasing committed their murders.

Incidentally, Tzipi Livni’s circle continue to argue that any attempt on the part of Jewish Home to object to Tzipi Livni is tantamount to a call for her assassination, and they point out that a few days ago some guy up north spat in Tzipi Livni’s faction member’s face, and that’s how all assassinations usually start. First you spit at the Archduke Ferdinand, then you throw a bomb at his procession.

welcome to Israel, the land where every season is the silly season.

Here is the list of the other Jews who were murdered, and the circumstances of their demise. If you’re angry after reading this list and livid at the release of the murderers it means you’re holding on to a measure of sanity. If you consider letting their 26 killers go the price of making peace, you are quite possibly insane.

David Reuven (59). Murdered April 20, 1991. Beaten to death, while tied up in a mini-market where he worked. Left behind a wife, three children, and grandchildren.
