Female and Male Terrorists Shot Dead after Stabbing Attempt at Check Post

Wednesday, April 27th, 2016

Two Arab terrorists, a man an a woman, reached the Qalandiya check post just outside Jerusalem and were asked by the security force at the post to identify themselves. The female terrorist pulled out a knife and the two rushed the policemen, who called on them several times to stop. Police then shot the female attacker dead, then killed her accomplice as well.

Hamas and PA news outlets have turned the story into the “execution” of a woman and a child. Ma’an described the incident as “woman, child shot dead after alleged stab attempt,” meaning the two were running at police while armed with knives for reasons other than to stab them. The Arab news agency cites witnesses who said police shot more than 15 rounds into the woman’s body. But a video that accompanies the report only offers two single shots.

Beit Horon Terror Stabbing Victim Shlomit Krigman, HY’D, Laid to Rest

Tuesday, January 26th, 2016

Hundreds of mourners gathered to support friends and family of Shlomit Krigman, hy’d, as they paid their final respects Tuesday before she was laid to rest at the Har HaMenuchot cemetery in Jerusalem. “She was a very special person,” said one.

The young woman — only 23 years old — lived in Shadmot Mehola in the Jordan Valley, but was staying in Beit Horon, located between Modi’in and Jerusalem along Highway 443, at the time of the attack.

“Shlomit was loved and known to all,” said the Beit Horon settlement administration in a statement. “She served as a Bnei Akivah youth group coordinator during her National Service. During the past year she lived with her grandparents in the settlement of Beit Horon.”

She was stabbed outside a grocery store late Monday afternoon by two Arab terrorists from the Palestinian Authority. Critically injured, she succumbed to her wounds on Tuesday morning at Hadassah Medical Center’s Mount Scopus campus.

A second Israeli woman, age 58, was also stabbed in the same attack. She is in stable condition with moderate wounds at Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

When the terrorists tried to enter the store to continue their stabbing spree, two Jewish workers pushed them back with a shopping cart, forcing them to run.

At that point, both attackers were shot and killed by a security guard. Forces who were searching the area found three IEDs (improvised explosive devices) they had planted around the store. Sappers were summoned to the site defuse the bombs.

The two terrorists, Ibrahim Ala’an, 22, from nearby Beit Ur al-Tahta; and Hussein Abu Ghosh, 17, from Qalandiya, a Hamas operative; reached the store via a nearby wadi. They jumped the fence surrounding the community, store worker Motti Shalem told Ynet.

“These difficult times are fraught with confrontation and we will overcome. We will continue to fight against terrorism and the incitement which drives it. In the face of terror, we choose life,” President Reuven Rivlin said in the wake of the attack.

On Monday night, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the IDF to prepare an upgraded comprehensive security plan for the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.

Immediately following the stabbing at Beit Horon, the IDF froze the work permits of the family members of the two terrorists and a series of other security measures. Roadblocks were set up on all access routes to Beit Ur al-Tahta, allowing only humanitarian cases in or out, according to an IDF spokesperson.

One of the security men opened fire directly at the terrorist and neutralized him with a shot in the leg.

The terrorist was arrested.

Rock-Throwing Arab Killed While Attacking IDF Commander, Soldier Hurt at Qalandia

Friday, July 3rd, 2015

An army commander shot and killed a Palestinian Authority Arab on Friday morning who had attacked the brigade commander’s vehicle.

The incident took place northeast of Jerusalem near the Arab village of Al-Ram, security sources said.

IDF Binyamin Region Division Col. Israel Shomer was driving to the Kalandiya checkpoint separating northern Jerusalem from Ramallah when his vehicle was attacked.

An Arab mob began hurling rocks at the vehicle. According to security sources, it appeared the attack on the commander’s vehicle was a planned ambush.

The terrorist was identified as Muhammad al-Qasba, 17.

“The commander reacted exactly as expected, given that the incident presented an immediate risk to life,” the security source pointed out.

No injuries were reported among IDF personnel. However, the commander’s vehicle was damaged. A photo shows the windshield is smashed, with a large hole directly in front of the driver’s side – making the lethal nature of the threat obvious.

The IDF deployed a large force to the area following the attack and “return fire” since it is clear there will be more riots to follow in the wake of the attacker’s death.

One IDF soldier has already been injured — albeit lightly — by a bottle hurled by a Palestinian Authority Arab while she was guarding the Qalandiya checkpoint Friday morning. The soldier was treated at the scene for the injury.

Terror groups and extremist imams in the mosques have been whipping local Arabs and Palestinian Authority citizens into a frenzy of hatred for the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. In particular they seize the opportunity to address their followers in sermons during and after public prayers on Fridays at the mosques.

In addition, the Da’esh (ISIS) terror organization has also exhorted Muslims worldwide to “rise up” during Ramadan and attack local authorities – police, military personnel, political figures – and other targets.

The “Sinai Province” terror group (formerly Ansar Bayt al Maqdis) ambushed Egyptian military personnel and police in more than 15 separate attacks Wednesday, killing dozens and wounding more. The Egyptian army retaliated and eliminated more than 100 of the terrorists in a two-day operation in the Sinai Peninsula. The mop up is continuing with cooperation from Israel, which has also gone to high alert along its southern border with Sinai.

Last week there were three different ISIS attacks on three separate continents that left more than a hundred dead and several hundred wounded, almost all of them civilians.

Killed Arab was Released in Shalit Deal

Monday, August 26th, 2013

At least one of the Arabs killed this morning, after attacking an Israeli Border Police jeep in the Qalandiya refugee camp, was possibly a terrorist released in one of the prisoner releases.

Younis Jahjouh, 23, who was killed this morning, is believed to to be the same Younis Jahjouh who was released in the Shalit deal in 2011, when Israel released 500 terrorists to purchase the freedom of Gilad Shalit from Hamas in Gaza.

A second Arab killed this morning is also suspected to have been released in one of the deals, but JewishPress.com has not corroborated the name yet to a specific release.
