Michael Doran, Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute, and former US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, joins Yishai to review the impact of PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s Congress speech. He demonstrates how the US administration’s creation of a “small band” of issues (i.e. how many centrifuges and how much uranium) limits the discussion of the real danger posed by Iran. Meanwhile, the Islamic Republic shows its local Middle East audience that it is a rising power and now possesses long-range rockets that can deliver their would-be nuclear arsenal.

Then, Ethan Bearman, nationally syndicated American radio talk-show host and one of Talkers magazine’s 2014 “Heavy Hundred,” joins Yishai live from San Francisco. He discusses the fuss over Rachel Beyda, a candidate for a student board position at UCLA who was challenged with the question: “Given that you are a Jewish student and very active in the Jewish community, how do you see yourself being able to maintain an unbiased view?” Do Jews and friends of Israel have a right to speak out and push back on the tide of liberalism?
