Yishai broadcasts from the campus of the Ariel University of Samaria, Israel’s newest university. The institution was accorded new status against significant objection due to its location in Samaria but the high level of academic excellence and research conducted at by Ariel faculty and students won out in the end. Yishai is joined in this segment by Ariel U’s Vice President Eldad Halachmi to discuss the history and future of the school. The segment ends with a discussion of how the secular New Year is celebrated in Israel. Don’t miss this segment!
