Yishai presents audio from Tablet Magazine where they interview Israeli author Yossi Klein Halevi on his new book Like Dreamers, a story about paratroopers from the 55th paratroop brigade who are most famous for liberating the Western Wall in Jerusalem. The book discusses individuals and how they went on to shape Israel following the war. Listen in to catch to this inspiring interview!

About the Author: Moshe Herman has been actively involved in Israel activism since founding the first pro-Israel student organization at Boise State University in 2007. He has been a member of several panels and discussion groups with topics ranging from interfaith dialogue in the Middle East to Israel’s importance as a Jewish state. Herman joined The Yishai Fleisher Show at the beginning of 2012 and currently resides in Jerusalem after making Aliyah in July 2013.

    That's my wife uncle in the picture at the Kotel. Behind the three in the front, he's the one on left.

    Lead by Lt. General Moshe Stempel (born in BIlgoraj, Poland) and murdered by the PLO terrorists hiding behind a woman, ambushed in Beit Shean.

    Was lead by Lt. General Moshe Stempel (Born in Bilgoraj, Poland) and murdered at the age of 33 years by PLO Ambush murderers hiding behind women in a cave in Beit Shean on Erev Rosh Hashanah. A poor way for my family to observe the New Year. His whole life was spent in war and did not have any childhood.
