Yishai rants about Ahmed Tibi, leader of the Arab Movement for Change, an Israeli political party, who said, “We thought the Israeli public wanted change, but instead acted in a tribal way, and therefore we are left with Netanyahu.” Yishai says Tibi is absolutely right: The Jewish people voted for the idea that Israel is a tribal state with a Jewish identity, not only a democratic Western country with no ethnic character.
Then, Zeev Ben-Shachar, director of Israel Education at Jerusalem U., joins Yishai in-studio to deconstruct the techniques of the Israel-haters and to lay out a strategy for fighting anti-Israel bias on campuses.
Finally, Rabbi Mike Feuer and Yishai take the studio outside on a beautiful Jerusalem day to talk about the challenging issues of faith when things don’t go our way and the resulting anger. They also provide an “intro” to the Book of Leviticus and discuss the challenging issue of animal sacrifice.
