Hamas is the biggest force for violence in the Palestinian Authority areas and their roots are in the Muslim Brotherhood. Crushing them would quiet things down for awhile.

  6. Chuck Dawson says:

Douglas Gersh has the best idea yet. Throw the Arabs out of Israel. The Arabs destroy everything they touch and are a scourge to every Non-Arab country they live in.

  7. Now here are the facts of the current land conflict in Israel. Which I’m sure all Arabs will deny since they love to twist history and laws to fit their wants.
The June 1967 War was a watershed event in the history of Israel and the Middle East. After only six days of fighting, Israel had radically altered the political map of the region. By June 13, Israeli forces had captured the Golan Heights from Syria, Sinai and the Gaza Strip from Egypt, and all of Jerusalem and the West Bank from Jordan. The new territories more than doubled the size of pre1967 Israel, placing under Israel’s control more than 1 million Palestinian Arabs. In Israel, the ease of the victory, the expansion of the state’s territory, and the reuniting of Jerusalem, the holiest place in Judaism, permanently altered political discourse. In the Arab camp, the war significantly weakened Nasserism, and led to the emergence of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) as the leading representative of the Palestinian people and effective player in Arab politics.
    Now international law states that:
    a) A state acting in lawful exercise of its right of self-defence may seize and occupy foreign territory as long as such seizure and occupation are necessary to its self-defence.
    b) As a condition of its withdrawal from such territory, that state may require the institution of security measures reasonably designed to ensure that that territory shall not again be used to mount a threat or use force against it of such a nature as to justify exercise of self-defence.
    c) Where the prior holder of the territory had seized that territory unlawfully, the state which subsequently takes that territory in the lawful exercise of self-defense has, against that prior holder, better title.”
The basic precept of international law concerning the rights of a state victim of aggression, which has lawfully occupied the attacking state’s territory in the course of self defense, is clear. This precept is that a lawful occupant such as Israel is entitled to remain in control of the territory involved pending negotiation of a treaty of peace. The problem is that Israel’s enemies at the time were no willing to make any peace agreements with Israel, which was against international law. So all of the land won by Israel, Gaza, the West Bank and the Golan Heights became sort of a no mans land pending these negotiations. But it was NEVER owned by Palestinians and should lawfully be owned by Israel, if the Arabs of the time would have respected international law. Israel is the ONLY democratic country in the Middle East that gives ALL of its citizens equal rights and religious freedom.
