Yishai roadcasts from the historic Jerusalem Train Station and is joined by activist Joe Sabag, Together, they discuss the current relationship between the United States and Israel and the refusal by the US government to recognize Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel. They move on to discuss the relationship between Barack Obama and leadership in the Arab world and how the “occupation narrative” is becoming normal in rhetoric released from the American administration. They end the segment with a riveting discussion about Israel’s need to “lay down the law” towards Iran and assert its independence and not portray a reliance on the United States.
About the Author: Moshe Herman has been actively involved in Israel activism since founding the first pro-Israel student organization at Boise State University in 2007. He has been a member of several panels and discussion groups with topics ranging from interfaith dialogue in the Middle East to Israel’s importance as a Jewish state. Herman joined The Yishai Fleisher Show at the beginning of 2012 and currently resides in Jerusalem after making Aliyah in July 2013.
