Sudhakaran and N. Sathyalakshmi, who hosted 150,000 guests on their Big Day in India in 1995. To which I can [...]

Holy Humor – Muslim & Jewish Comics

Media → Video PicksComedian and Reform Rabbi Bob Alper and Lawyer and Community Activist Azhar Usman are a comedy duo known as ‘Comedy’s Odd Couple’ performing together in an act titled: “One Muslim, One Jew, One Stage.” I’ll bet a show with a Muslim and an Orthodox Jewish comic would be even funnier—especially since the Jewish comic would [...]

If I didn’t know better, I’d wonder if Rabbi Chaim Brovender, dean of WebYeshiva, wasn’t filmed at 5 in the morning, Shavuot day, after staying up learning all night… But the clip was probably just shot a the end of a very long [...]

Hamas & PA Music Video (By Way of Latma TV): ‘Anyone You Can Fool I Can Fool Better’
Posted on: April 15th, 2012
Media → Video PicksFollowing the reunification of Hamas and the Palestinian Authority, the folks at Latma TV decided to pit two Hamas and PA spokesmen over who is better at fooling the world. Some of the asides are in Hebrew, but you can get the meaning from body language (a whole lot of body language). Come to think of it, renowned gun slinger Annie Oakley would have blended in just fine in either camp.
