Children Wade in Gaza Raw Sewage

Gaza children wade in raw sewage in December 2013 -- well before the start of Operation Protective Edge and while construction supplies were being shipped into the region. Hamas was not taking care of its civilians; it was too busy building its terrorist infrastructure to attack Israel.

On November 13, the streets of the Al Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City were flooded with raw sewage, after a nearby waste water treatment plant had been shut down.

We’re facing a potential epidemic of biblical proportions here. Gaza is not separated from the rest of Israel when it comes to elements of the environment. Their sea—gorged in their raw sewage—is our sea. People and animals constantly move out of Gaza and into our part of the geography. We must fix this, no matter the cost.

An outbreak of cholera would be much more expensive and complicated to fix.

Do we really want dead bodies piling up and festering in the streets of Gaza? Forget about the political damage, start thinking Plague.

  1. Tany Berman says:

What a shame BUT what about these moooslims KILLING JEWISH BABIES…………….

  2. Maybe it’s time for HAMAS to show some real leadership and fix this.

  3. Their sewage treatment plan is offline since Egypt cut off smuggling of subsidized fuel from the Sinai and the Hamas govt is too cheap to buy fuel at standard prices from Israel – they would rather invest in terror tunnels and rockets than their own people’s welfare.

  4. ARE YOU KIDDING ???????????????

  5. Uh, yeah, I'm OK with biblical retribution on these Jew-haters.

  6. Uh, yeah, I'm OK with biblical retribution on these Jew-haters.

  7. Anthony Kent says:

Maybe they can divert some of the $100m a year tunnel building budget to sorting it out.

  8. Wallowing in their own filth. That's poetic justice for ya.

  9. Israel bombed Palestinian's sewer treatment plants and that is why sewage is running in the streets. What hatefulness does this and then laughs at it and blames the victems?

  10. Israel bombed Palestinians sewer treatment plants. Are you not aware of this? Not if you only read the radical Jewish Press. Where does your cruelty come from?

  11. Tunnel building is necessary for medical and food supplies and basically everything since they cannot travel and purchase what they need due to the Israeli blockades. Palestinians live in the largest open-air prison in the world. It has been condemned by the World Court. The US gives lip service only and are just as culpable.

  12. This, coming from the highly credible Jenika Sharon, the very same neo-Nazi troll who only yesterday insisted with a straight face that Avigail Tzur — the Jewish baby stoned by Arabs in Jerusalem — had never been stoned at all.

  13. People who, unlike Jenika Sharon, are interested in actual facts, may be interested to know that Israel has incredibly (and idiotically) BUILT many sewage treatment plans — using Israeli taxpayers' money — for the "Palestinians". In one recent case, here's how the "Palestinians" thanked Israel for doing so:

  14. Yechiel Baum says:

Pity they dont' bathe in it and clean themselves up.

  15. ….and until we can change our attitudes, there will never be peace in the Middle East.

  16. From the looks of these exchanges, I can see what is holding back the Peace Process

  17. Jenika Sharon. There are truckloads of food and medical supplies going into Gaza every day and even the granddaughter of Hanie(the Hamas chief) was treated in Israel. You are a one eyed biased person who expects people, who persistently proclaim they want to kill every jew, to be trated other then a criminal which uses to be kept in prison or in othere words under guard to protect those whom he is a threat to, everywhere in the world. You should keep helping the poor and homeless in your nation(you doing a good job there) and moreover, give it back to the I
ndians if you would stick to what you demand of Israel.

Bears in a tree

A Monsey park was closed on Sunday, after bears were sighted climbing in the trees.

Poet Erez Biton, who was awarded the Israel Prize for Literature on Yom Ha’Atzmaut, used the occasion to warn against sponsors of the Boycott Israel movement. “Strident voices are being heard in the world including those who are challenging the very existence of the State of Israel,” he said. “There are even those among them […]

Yishai is joined in-studio by Ata Farhat, chairman of the Druze Zionist Council, to talk about his community’s celebration of Israeli independence. Though of a different religion and culture, the Druze fight in Israel’s wars and consider themselves an integral part of the Israeli nation-state. Find out why. Then, Yishai rants about the beauty of Israeli independence. He says that while Israel’s enemies paint the Jewish state as foreign to the Middle East landscape, the truth is that there is nothing more organic — more holistic — than the Jewish people being back in Judea. Finally, for his “Spiritual Cafe” segment, Yishai is joined by Rabbi Mike Feuer to discuss issues of Jewish statehood. Is there such a thing as “good” post-Zionism, for example? Listen in!

‘Zionism in Animation’, aims to tell the story of Zionism in a series of 100 short animated clips, and is the brainchild of Shlomo Blass, head of Rogatka.

Yishai broadcasts a speech delivered by Miriam Peretz, the mother of two fallen IDF soldiers, Uriel and Eliraz, during a “Friends of the IDF” dinner. In her address, she talks about her sacrifice, which she believes is necessary in the fight for the Jewish State. Then, Yishai reads a story he wrote, called “Zikaron” (remembrance), one passage of which is as follows: “In that one moment, I though of gratitude: I am so thankful to you, fallen paratrooper, fallen Jew, fallen brother.” Finally, Yishai is joined in-studio by former MK Dr. Aryeh Eldad, former surgeon-general of the IDF and head of plastic surgery at Hadassah Hospital in Ein Karem. He says that if the state of Israel is the thesis of Zionism, then the Holocaust is the antithesis, and the days of remembrance for the victims of the Holocaust and the fallen soldiers and victims of terrorism is the synthesis.

Amazing new NBN video on Olim who love Israel. Why do YOU love Israel?

Yishai takes the occasion of Israel’s Remembrance Day for Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terrorism — and last week’s Holocaust Remembrance Day — to express his view of Jewish victimhood. He says that while we commemorate Jewish and Israeli victims, the ideology of Jew-hatred is alive and well. Then, Yishai is joined by Shlomo Blass, the director of Rogatka, a studio that creates short, pro-Israel videos. Among the founders of Caroline Glick’s satirical Latma series, that poked fun at the Left, he is now launching a new project: “Zionism in Animation” — 100 short videos on different aspects of Zionism, including important historical moments and figures. Finally, Yishai is treated to a cameo appearance by VOI’s Pinchas Orban, who talks about the rationality behind belief in God.

Yishai is joined in-studio by Arab affairs analyst Bassem Eid to talk about the Temple Mount, the Holocaust and the Arab concern for dignity over identity. Then, Yishai is joined in-studio by David Bederman, coach to successful CEOs and entrepreneurs, to talk about Israeli independence. He says that Israel does not have a PR problem, but rather an identity crisis. Finally, Yishai is joined in-studio by Jerusalem Post editorial page editor Matthew Wagner to discuss the question of the peculiar phenomenon of the Left being in a global coalition with Islamic fundamentalists?

Well worth watching to the very end…

Yishai is joined in-studio by 88-year-old Kate Bernath, grandmother of his wife, Malkah, to hear her Holocaust testimonial: What was it like as a Hungarian Jew getting off the train at Auschwitz, and how it felt to have your mother separated from you forever by Dr. Mengele.

I’m thinking, if the baby was angry enough, couldn’t he evacuate in return, right there in her arms? Imagine the same picture, except with a settler […]
