Crows Rule Cities

Crows Rule Cities

When we moved to Netanya, a coastal city in Israel, I noticed the absence of seagulls. How can a city by the sea not have any seagulls? The answer is: they were chased out by the huge crow community.

This explains why there are so many crows and also why there are so few… rats and mice. We also have a huge population of feral cats in Netanya, but they’re mostly fed by little old cat ladies. I suspect most of the rat hunting is done by our crows. Our smart and crafty crows.
