The new Jewish rock puppet band Buba Myses is fun to watch. I wish they had more jokes. The Muppet Show has conditioned all of us to expect jokes with the act. Even if it’s, say, puppets doing Richard the Third. When King Rick says “A horsy, a horsy, my kingdom for a horsy,” I fully expect a pantomime horse to jump on stage and yell out: And what am I, chopped liver?
