Rabbi Gutman,,,,, With all due respect….if you wish to see G-d, he is all around you…

  2. Hadar Israel says:

Mr. Gldberg's words "God is all", IS PANTHEISM, IT IS NOT the ABSOLUTE MONOTHEISM taught by the Torah, where God is the CREATOR, not all of CREATION.
PANTHEISM HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TORAH, it's the "en 'od milevadò" of ChaBa"D, which is PANTHEISM, NOT TORAH AND NOT MONOTHEISM.
NOWHERE IN THE TORAH IS WRITTEN THAT WE SHALL SEE GOD.
This guy MISREPRESENTS TORAH TRUE JUDAISM.
I am sorry that the Jewish Press falls for such B.S. and uses it to represent a rabbi vis à vis a pastor.

I've know Gutman Locks for over 22 years while praying every day at the Kotel for HaNetz. He would come in at about 2:00am to set up for a minyn after which he would study Torah until the prayers would start. I would try to come before him, we would fight daily for chairs and standards but it was for a good cause. Every afternoon at about 3:00pm, he and others would set up a stand to put tefilin on tourists, some of whom have never done so in their lives. Of course he would ask them if they were Jewish but even then, you don't know if it was true by Jewish law. Nevertheless, Gutman has good intentions. He was once a drill sergeant in the army, was immersed in Hinduism and actually did not speak for several years before he returned to Judaism. He wrote several books and made lots of videos. IMO, nobody is beyond criticism and certainly not Gutman; so, if you truly want to find fault with Gutman, you will find it as I am sure you would in yourself if you look in the mirror. The importance is that he is trying to rebuild himself to be stronger in Judaism, helping others worldwide who come to the Kotel to become better Jews and daily he asks help from Master of Souls. To those who criticize Gutman I ask, are you doing even a little bit of the same as Gutman?

A dinosaur's footprint found in Jerusalem

As this week’s Parsha is Breishit (Genesis), we thought it would be interesting to run one of Rabbi Natan Slifkin’s talks on Torah, Creation… and Dinosaurs. The photo above is from the site AllAboutJerusalem.com and the article there talks about the dinosaur footprints that were found in Beit Zayit in Jerusalem.

Yishai debates a cynical friend about the Jewish State, talks about the lack of Sukkot in the Hague, and broadcasts from the Moshav Carlebach Music Festival.

Yishai is joined by Renowned Israeli cantor Binyamin Nakonechny and Malkah Fleisher in-studio with special Sukkot songs and stories. Listen in and get inspired!

Jeremy Gimpel sent us this amazing Sukkot related video linking the ancient with the modern…

Yishai presents a special Sukkot show directly from Jerusalem!

Yishai Fleisher talks to Zvika Klein, award-winning journalist covering the Diaspora beat for Makor Rishon and NRG, about the shocking reality of Jews living in refugee camps in Ukraine’s war zone. rain ATM

A Jerusalem woman is trying to hold on to her umbrella while withdrawing some cash at a Meah Shearim ATM, Sunday, March 9, 2014. The rain appeared out of the blue (which is how rain should), after a warm week that started to feel like summer. Well, it don’t feel like summer no more. Last […]

The description that came with this picture says: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu speaks with American actor Bette Midler during an event at the house of Hollywood producer Arnon Milchan in Hollywood on March 6, 2014. An Israeli female soldier (because they’re better at removing babies from their homes) evacuates a baby from a settlement in Judea and Samaria some time in the recent past. I’m thinking, if the baby was angry enough, couldn’t he evacuate in return, right there in her arms? Imagine the same picture, except with a settler […]
