    It seems a bit ironic that the Israelites ate dairy on Shavuot because their dishes were treif. Today, our dishes may be kosher, but the milk is partially treif!
    If you don't believe that, see this article:
    Apparently some rabbis have stopped consuming milk products because they believe there is a real kosher issue with milk today.
