An IDF officer on the Golan Heights was lightly wounded Tuesday evening by gunfire from Syria.

The officer, from the Engineering Corp, was hit by shrapnel from where the bullet hit nearby. He was treated on site.

The gunfire came from an area controlled by Assad’s troops.
