The annual migration of the storks has started in Israel, signalling that autumn is not too far behind.

Thousands of storks were spotted last weekend flying over the Rotem Plain in southern Israel, according to the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel (SPNI). It’s the first such sighting to be reported this year, one that heralds the annual fall migration.
