What's happening to the First Amendment at UCLA?

Controlling the public debate is part of the campaign of the soft Jihad that extends far beyond the campus. Currently, the Council of American Islamic Relations is pressuring the National September 11 Memorial Museum not to show a video that describes the attack on the World Trade Center with accurate allusions to Jihad and radical Islam. CAIR would like you to think that Islam had nothing to do with the attack on the World Trade Center.

Let CAIR make its case but not through censorship. Let us protect everyone’s right to speak, and let no one monopolize the public agenda. The tolerance of intolerance only diminishes our liberties. Let it be clear to Muslim student groups, their leftist allies, and all those who seek to monopolize the public square, there are freedoms for which we as a people are still willing to fight.
