I received an e-mail that included a letter from a resident of Moshav Avivim, up on the Lebanese border where two soldiers, Ohad Goldwasser and Eldad Regev, were captured, resulting in the present military operations. The writer shared a story about several Chabad chassidim who for the past few years have spent festive Pesach holidays with residents of Moshav Avivim:

“The Chabadnikim maintained that Avivim would be the site where the geula would begin, and that the evil would open up from the North. It seemed a bit unbelievable at the time. Avivim? Nothing ever happens up in Avivim! And indeed, the stage is now set for the Messiah. Let us hope that this is it! Showtime! I have my own secret weapon. I have my faith in the one true God of Israel.”
