When Arafat spoke of the eventual “liberation” of Jerusalem as a sacred and unending ambition for the Palestinian cause, he defined it as a recapture of what had been, and should be, in his view, Muslim land.

The establishment of the Palestinian capital in Jerusalem is the first important step in the long-term strategy to rid the Levant of Jews and reestablish the House of Islam in Palestine.

If State Department officials and other Western diplomats are intent on mollifying the Arab street by pressuring Israel to divide Jerusalem as a peace offering to the Palestinians, they may well be setting into motion a jihadist, apocalyptic movement invigorated by a misguided diplomacy that, once more, asks Israel to sacrifice its security and nationhood so that Islamists can realize their own imperial and theological ambitions at the Jewish state’s expense.

  1. In all seriousness, Abbas can talk until he is blue in the face, and he will still fail to Dr-Judaize Jerusalem. Jerusalem and the people of Judah and David have been inextricably linked for several millennia. No trumped-up thug dressed up in a suit, no matter how persuasive can change that fact even one iota.

  2. “Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Palestinian state and without it there will be no state.” In this case, I believe that there will never be a "Palastinian State." If they want it at the cost of splitting Jerusalem, and denying that it was the heart of Judaism from the time King David conquered the Jebusite city, then, I believe, the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will take Abbas at his word, and no Palastinian State will come into existence.

The judgement of King Solomon between the two mothers who claimed the same child is relevant here. THE ONE WHO DID NOT WANT TO CUT THE CHILD IN TWO LOVED THE CHILD. The Jewish State is prepared to SHARE Jerusalem with the world, and Tnach declares that Jerusalem will be a light to the nations. HE will ensure that Jerusalem is not divided. Yes, the UN, or the nations united, will come against Jerusalem one day. But they will trigger the wrath of the living G-d. I know whose side I'd rather be on. I look forward to the day of His coming; though I dread the conflict until that date. But Jerusalem does not belong to Man. It is the city of the Living G=d.

  3. We must pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and the safety of the Jews, the People of the Book. Isaiah says "the government shall be upon His shoulders" as any Christian who reads "the Book" will understand what this is all about in these perilous days.

  4. There are 300,000 Arab residents of Jerusalem who are not citizens but receive Israel benefits, and consider themselves Palestinians Arabs. They have been squatting and building and stealing and assaulting for decades, and there is a sharp rise in these assaults as the second and third generation are trained and cultivated to throw rocks and worse at Israeli police and civilians and schools etc. These people need to be trucked over to the Gaza fence and pitched over it.
