After the end of time as we know it, Purim will be the only Yom Tov we will continue to celebrate. Ever since Amalek first embarked on its evil pursuit of the Jews, Hashem swore by His throne that they would be annihilated. By way of the Purim miracle, Haman along with his children – descendants of Amalek – were obliterated from this earth and the glory of Hashem was restored. Since such an occurrence is tied with our Geulah, Purim – a holiday that celebrates our redemption – will forever be observed.
