Winter Returns: National Parks Closed by Floods

Winter is back in Israel, with freezing rain storms and flooding, in a country that’s not quite prepared for rain and floods. But when it comes to nature – it is doubly beautiful here in winter, especially on flood days. Credit for these videos goes to the Israeli Nature and Parks Authority.

Incidentally, the Yarkon National Park Tel Afek has been reopened since we started uploading these videos, which suggests another feature of Israeli winters: they’re very short.
