One of the judges has been recused in the manslaughter trial of an IDF soldier who shot and killed an injured Arab terrorist in Hebron.

Lt. Col. Yogev Yifrah, one of a panel of three judges in the military court, was removed due to his prior acquaintance with a witness who is slated to testify in the case, according to Walla!

Sgt. Elor Azaria is accused of killing the terrorist after he was already on the ground and disabled moments after he and a second terrorist had stabbed an IDF soldier in Hebron.

The trial is scheduled to continue as soon as Yifrah is replaced with another judge, by the president of the Jaffa Military Court, Col. Maya Heller.
