Knife confiscated by Border Guard Police

An Arab teenager from Hebron was arrested Wednesday morning at the Cave of the Patriarchs after he tried to sneak a knife into the holy site in one of his socks.

Israeli Border Guard Police officers stationed at the entrance to the site noticed the 17-year-old trying to make his way around the security checkpoint without entering the metal detector.

The police officers directed the teen to walk through the machine, which immediately picked up the metal object. A complete search uncovered the knife hidden in the teen’s sock.

The young teenage terrorist-in-training was arrested and taken into custody.

Palestinian Authority Arabs in Hebron often attempt to spirit weapons into the holy site in order to carry out deadly terror attacks against the Jews praying there.
