M-16 assault rifle, ammunition and rifle clips uncovered by IDF soldiers searching for illegal weapons

An innocent baby’s blanket hid a deadly surprise when Israeli military forces were searching for illegal weapons in the Palestinian Authority town of Yatta, south of Hebron in Judea late Monday.

Weapons cache

IDF soldiers and Israel Police forces seized a new M-16 assault rifle, two large bags of ammunition and a number of new clips for the weapon as well.

The weapons cache was artfully hidden in the colorful child’s blanket with its thick padding that was really intended to keep a small body warm.

Two suspects were arrested and taken for questioning.
