Proposed US law would shutter PLO D.C. offices unless President can make certain assurances.

House members who co-sponsored the bill, along with Rep. Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL-27) include Rep. Marc Meadows (R-N.C.-11), Steve Chabot (R-OH-1), Ander Crenshaw (R-FL-04), Tim Huelskamp (R-KS-01), Adam Kinzinger (R-IL-16), John Kline (R-MN-02), Michael McCaul (R-TX-10), John Mica (R-FL-07), Matt Salmon (R-AZ-05), David Schweikert (R-AZ-06), Randy Weber (R-TX-14), Ted Yoho (R-FL-03), Lee Zeldin (R-NY-01).

The legislation was sent to the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Ros-Lehtinen is the chairwoman of the subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa of the HFAC. The Senate version was sent to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
