Sarah Techiya Litman, whose father and 18-year-old brother were murdered by a Palestinian Authority terrorist while they were on their way to celebrate the Shabbat before her intended wedding, will marry next week.

Today, Wednesday, was supposed to the first day of their marriage after the wedding that had been scheduled for last night, but Sarah, her mother and surviving brothers and sisters are sitting shiva instead.

The IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) tracked down the terrorist in Hebron the day after the murders.Sarah wrote and her future husband wrote:

My enemy, don’t be happy that I fell because I arose. With God’s help our wedding will take place next Thursday 14 Kislev-26 Nov[ember] at Binyanei HaUma [in Jerusalem].

All Am Yisrael is invited to arise from the dust and to happily participate in our happiness

The attack on the Litman family car, which Netanel was driving from their home in Kiryat Arba, occurred on Highway 60, south of Hebron and north of the suburban Be’er Sheva town of Meitar where they were headed for Shabbat.
