A female Border Guard Police officer was injured Tuesday after she was hit by a firebomb (Molotov cocktail) that was thrown by an Arab who attacked her during security operations in Deheishe, near Bethlehem in Judea, a few minutes south of Jerusalem.

The officer was treated at the scene for injuries she sustained to her hand and then evacuated to a hospital in Jerusalem for further treatment.

The attack took place during the arrest of wanted terror suspects as rocks, firebombs and other objects were hurled at the officers, who employed riot dispersal methods in response.
