Imitation may be the most sincere form of flattery, but it’s likely the Israel Defense Forces would be happy to do without it this time around.

Gaza’s ruling Hamas terrorist organization announced this weekend it is holding a “pre-planned military exercise” on Sunday.

Not only the “drill” itself, but even the language describing the exercise were lifted directly from the language of the Israel Defense Forces.

The terrorist group’s Izz a-Din al-Qassam military wing warned local residents they could expect to hear “explosions and the sounds of gunfire” which would be taking place during the drill, which Hamas said was “defensive only.”
