Palestinian Islamic Jihad officials have told Israel’s i24TV News in an exclusive interview that several minutes before the assassination of their commander, Baha Abu al-Ata, an IDF drone entered his apartment to verify his identity and exact location.

The news outlet also reported that following a barrage of rockets fired from Gaza on November 1 at the southern Israeli city of Sderot, a drone was seen hovering over Abu al-Ata’s home and those of three other senior PIJ officials.
