10:23 PM (Israel Time): The Iranian FARS news agency has put the death toll from Saturday’s earthquakes at 153, with hundreds more wounded.
The earthquakes struck the north-east city of Tabriz. The US Geological Survey measured the first quake at 6.4 and the second, 11 minutes later, at 6.3.
