UN Ambassador Danny Danon told British lawmakers on Tuesday that Labour Party chairman Jeremy Corbyn is an “anti-Semite who wants to return Britain to darker periods in its history.”

Danon was hosted Tuesday (Oct. 9 2018) by the British Parliament, where the Israeli diplomat was invited to address the legislative body.

In his address, Danon referred to statements that have been made by Corbyn, who is Opposition Leader for the British Parliament.

He added, “In his actions and statements, Corbyn gives oxygen to incidents of racism by embracing his terrorist friends and encouraging the activities of BDS (the global anti-Israel Boycott, Divest and Sanctions movement).

“Israel stands by the Jewish community in England,” Danon said.
