PM Netanyahu addresses a session of the Knesset.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told the Knesset on Wednesday that Israel’s “deep ties” with the United States will continue.

Netanyahu reassured lawmakers that the strong bond between the two countries would weather the current “crisis” claimed Tuesday in an article published in The Atlantic quoting an anonymous senior staffer in the Obama White House.

“The safety of Israel is not important to those who anonymously attack us and me personally,” Netanyahu told the special session, held in memory of former Tourism Minister Rehavam Ze’evi, assassinated 13 years ago.

“I stand for our safety and security interests.”

Netanyahu added that he values and respects “our deep ties with the United States” and promised that strategic ties between Israel and America will continue.

  1. If Bibi’s smart (which he’s not) he’ll take this opportunity to announce taking back east Jerusalem, which Jordan stole and ethnically cleansed of Jews in their illegal 1948 attack on Israel. Or evict US diplomatic personnel, or some such other measure. But we know he won’t. And he’ll lose at the next elections while trying to convince us he’s the man for the job.

  2. Sorry to say it but – not with standing the source of the quote – I happen to agree that the term 'C.S.' accurately describes our PM's inability to forthrightly stand up to pressure (usually from the US Administration itself) and do the right thing completely or consistently. As for the author of this vulgar quote, all I can say is: It's now completely unequivocal. BHO has become my all time absolute 'favorite' POTUS – bar none!

Don't forget to cast your ballots in the upcoming elections!

  3. I love Israel and always will because God give you this land and nobody will take it away from you, not even Obama. I can't wait till he's out of office, I would feel safer if we had Netanyahu as our president but hopefully we will get someone like Netanyahu to protect America as he does Israel.
