The recently inaugurated high speed train from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv, but currently only working as far as Ben Gurion Airport, has malfunctioned again, on Monday evening.

The train’s engine suffered a malfunction after the train left Ben Gurion Airport and is now stuck in tunnel number 3.

Approximately 150 passengers and 5 train staff are on board, as a new engine is making its way to pull the train out of the tunnel and back to the airport.

Israel Rail has already arranged for buses to transport the stranded passengers to Jerusalem.
