A 27-year-old woman was seriously wounded and two others were only slightly wounded. Police and Border Guard forces started searching for the attacker. Fire fighting teams extinguished the two vehicles.

The young woman was evacuated by MDA paramedics to Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center with 25% 2nd and 3rd degree burns all over her body. She was fully conscious and in stable condition. The young woman’s husband managed to escape from the vehicle unharmed.

The vehicle, which was completely burned, rolled down the road and hit an oncoming vehicle driven by a 20-year-old man who was slightly injured. He was evacuated to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

Another 20-year-old man suffered from burns in his hands and from smoke inhalation after trying to put out the burning vehicles with a fire extinguisher.

“The attack near Beit Hanina this evening” should remind us that “the exception is Jews who attack Arabs and the routine is Arab terrorism against Jews,” said Israel Beiteinu Chairman Avigdor Lieberman in response to the incident. “Every terrorist, no matter from which side, should be handled forcefully, but we must remember what is the real threat against us and that we must invest our full resources in protecting the Jews in the Land of Israel. ”

The Zionist Camp (Labor) party also issued a statement after the attack: “We must not let terrorism raise its head anywhere. This is a serious incident and whoever dares to harm a citizen of Israel should know that Israel would pursue him with all her might.”

“It is unacceptable that civilians will be afraid to drive in Jerusalem, and we are convinced that the security forces will not let go until they catch the terrorists.”

If you wish to pray for the health of the wounded young woman, her name is Inbar Esther bat Hannah Priva.
