Likud MK Jackie Levy submitted his resignation from the Knesset to Speaker Yuli-Yoel Edelstein (Likud) on Thursday, following his election as mayor of Beit She’an.
“My friend MK Jackie Levy is embarking on a new journey today and will lead the city of Beit She’an on behalf of the Likud party,” Speaker Edelstein said. I am certain that he will quickly gain many new achievements for the city, and I wish him the best of luck.”

Next on the Likud list to take Levy’s seat is Osnat Mark. Mark, a lawyer, is originally from Ofakim and now lives in Maale Adumim with her husband and three children.
