C train in Manhattan

Gregory Locke reports on his Facebook page how New Yorkers stepped up and cleaned up anti-Semitic graffiti on a Manhattan subway train on Saturday night, after someone wrote Nazi messages all over the billboards and windows.

The graffiti said, “Jews belong in the oven” and featured swastikas.

One man instigated the cleanup, and soon many people on the train were wiping the windows and billboards clean.

On Thursday, a man bordered a C train on W. 23rd and began ranting “Hail the Hitler Youth!” according to a report in the NY Daily News.

The man then shoved a 25-year-old woman, calling her a “Dirty Jew.”

Two men on the train confronted the neo-Nazi and told him to, “Take a walk.”

The woman, who is not Jewish, thanked the men.

The neo-Nazi ran off.
