12:05 Some Israelis received a push notification of a rocket alert in the Ashkelon area. Channel 2 also sent out a push alert. Some people in southern Ashkelon said they heard an alarm.
The IDF says no rockets were launched, and the rocket alert sounded in the southern Ashkelon industrial park due to a technical problem.
