I guess we should be grateful. In 1972, The “Palestinians” murdered 11 Israeli athletes in Munich.
Fast forward to 2015, and the “Palestinians” are seemingly satisfied with just trying to get Israel athletes banned from playing soccer in FIFA, the international soccer organization.
That would be a civilized step up for them, if true.
FIFA has agreed to have a discussion on May 29, at the Palestinian Football Association’s request, to have the Israel Football Association suspended or banned from FIFA.
But have the “Palestinians” really graduated to merely politicizing sports?
In 2006, FIFA agreed to fund the repairs of Gaza’s soccer field, after Israel blew the field up.
Israel blew up the field, because besides soccer, the field was being used as a training facility for Islamic Jihad and al-Aqsa Martyrs. And a week earlier an Israeli soccer field was hit with a Kassam rocket launched from Gaza.
Israel blew up that same Gazan soccer field again in 2012. This time because Gaza’s terrorists were using it to launch rockets at Israel. Hamas actually built an underground rocket launchers into the soccer field, the killing field.
Unfortunately, the “Palestinians” are still using sports to try and kill and attack Jews.
