Contrary to a claim by Arab sources, a six-year-old Palestinian Arab boy who was shot on Saturday was not the victim of an Israeli attack.

The child was shot accidentally while playing with a gun together with his friend, according to IDF military sources who spoke with Israeli media.

A local Arab source had said an Israeli driver had shot the child – but the IDF denied the claim, and said the incident appeared instead to be the product of an accident in the village.
