Glum-faced VP BIden and President Obama always looking down on Israel

President Barack Obama told the American people that last week’s murder of nine blacks in a Charleston, S.C. church should wake up Americans “to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries. It doesn’t happen in other places with this kind of frequency.”

He tweeted:

Here are the stats: Per population, we kill each other with guns at a rate 297x more than Japan, 49x more than France, 33x more than Israel.

The comparisons are a bit ridiculous and miss the point completely.

In Japan, the law states, “No one shall possess a firearm or firearms or a sword or swords.” Exceptions are few and far between, and licenses for hunting and sports are allowed only after a lengthy procedure.

In Israel, tens of thousands of people walk around with guns, most of them soldiers, licensed guards or members of first response teams, with virtually no incidents except when shooting at terrorists.

Two notable exceptions, often used by anti-Semites to try to describe Israelis as violent, were the murders of Arabs by Baruch Goldstein and Eden Natan-Zada.

They were exceptions and not examples. Gun violence in Israel historically is related to defend the country against terrorists.

President Obama wants to solve the problem of gun violence in the United States, but he put the emphasis on the word “gun” and not “violence, which is deeply rooted in American society from the days of the Wild West.

Obama said after the murders in Charleston:

It is within our power to do something about it. I say this recognizing that the politics of this town foreclose a lot of those avenues. But it would be wrong for us not to acknowledge it.

Gun control is the obvious first way to find and quick and easy fix to American gun violence. The gun lobby has successful limited gun control laws, but the Charleston massacre may break the lobby’s back.

The more that guns are easily available, it is a reasonable conclusion that more shootings are likely to result.

The issue of gun control is so highly charged in the United States, under the guide of “freedom,” that it will be difficult to legislate and enforce stricter controls.

If legislation is enacted, it remains to be seen if those who should have guns will be denied them while those who should not have them will get guns anyway.

It is easier to legislate gun control than it is to legislate violence.

It is even easier for President Obama to decide what is best for Israel.

  1. "It is even easier for President Obama to decide what is best for Israel." lol. In the U.S. were dead people vote at elections, and illegals can vote, and you don't need i.d. to vote, the president that wins is the one who is most hazardardous to the people, and the people need to be armed for this reason. Americans are in a tough spot where they must choose the lesser of two evils, which in this case is rights to gun ownership and carry.

  2. It is not gun laws that prevent murder. A killer does not care that he is breaking the law. Knives, baseball bats, pipes, and bombs will do the job. People are not equal. An old lady at home alone has no protection against an armed, or unarmed, youth. She is simply overpowered. The only thing a gun would do is to level the playing feild, and give that same old lady a chance to survive.

Obama lies. This is not his first lie and it won't be his last. He thinks of himself as a great ruler, but he is just trying to emulate somebody he isn't. We know guns save innocent lives here. We know from history, that most of the criminals killed, were black. We know that blacks in general do not live a great life in the US, and that is because, in large part, they do not want to be inclusive in the American Dream. They want their own version of the English language. They want their own version of Health Care. And, by and large, their own unique names, just to show they are different. (That, despite the color of their skin).

So, Obama makes up stories, and enlists others to follow. They don't always break the law, but always bend it. When ordered to turn over records, they often don't. Hillary gave him his job, for which she became Secretary of State. Then her foundation got contributions from foreign countries, and they were rewarded with State Dept. approvals. She got rich at America's expense. There is something disingenuous about a rich person who claims to be working for the poor.

There is another lie. Guns don't kill, no matter where you are. A person has to operate that gun, just like a plane in warfare must drop it's bombs. Or try to shoot down another plane. It is the pilot, and his skills, and not the plane. But you can't convince people who are sheeple.

  3. Yes, lets hear it for the likes of POTUS obama; he knows fully well that 98% of the gun violence (and violence in general) is done by our negro population in ghettos like Chicago, Detroit, New York City, etc. Through really 'bad' social planning the United States has raised up a criminal society that is mostly black. This is not a good thing!

  4. Do you think the criminals and any muslim terrorist that has infiltrated will give up their weapons? We do not have IDF soldiers with their weapons to protect us. Our police are not allowed to profile like Israel who is surrounded by enemies. he leaves these facts out. Our enemies are within our walls. Until Obama took office, I never owned a gun. Since then I now own and stay current. With him in charge, things have deteriorated in this country. Thugs are idolized and terrorists are allowed to roam free. Do not believe this liar and deceiver. He is beelzebubs minion. He has no regard for you Israel.

  5. Sure. Take America's guns away. Then who is left to save the day in WWIII?

What is ignored is where the vast majority of gun violence occurs. And that is historically in the enclaves of Obama voters. If you eliminate young male black-on-black homicides, the homicide by gun rate in the U.S. drops by around 75 percent. It is not directly a gun problem; it is a gangsta mentality problem. Guns are just a status symbol for gang-bangers, who would rather hustle than take a meaningful job.

This is not limited to blacks. You have members of all races hustling in the streets. But young black males appear to be the most likely to shoot one another over something stupid.

Taking guns is like taking the foreskin; the rest of it is still there, and is still of full use to the possessor. It is a morality issue, not an inanimate object issue. You can ban anything you want; but there are still sticks and stones about.

I would not live in a country that banned guns. That is always the first step in the inevitably ensuing Statism that follows. Let the citizens find their own way to peace. You cannot legislate morality, nor peace of mind. They will get there on their own, if you let them. Government interference merely clouds their moral senses. .

  6. Race relations are at the worst I have seen since the sixties. If Obama can keep us fighting among ourselves then his terrorist friends have less of a problem destroying our country. Well, hear this. Black, white or brown we are all Americans. This is our country and if we are in danger from terrorists we will put aside our own differences and fight side by side to save our country. We are one family when we are in danger. The fight is still in us. The love of country is still in us and those who do not love our country need to get the hell out.
