A memorial candle in Tzfat

Rabbi Aharon Chaim (Ronnie) Harari-Raful, z’l, son of Chacham Yosef Harari-Raful, the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Ateret Torah in Brooklyn New York has passed away after suffering with an illness for more than a decade.

The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the Shomrei Hadas Chapels in the Borough Park section of Brooklyn, with interment to take place in the Land of Israel.

Rabbi Aharon Chaim provided assistance to his father with the daily affairs of running the yeshiva.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Reina Raful and his parents, Chacham Yosef and Rabbanit Carol; his children, Yossi, Ruchama Shames, Rachamim, Miriam Laniado, Racheli, Moshe, Yehudit, Ruthi and Eli; and his siblings, Rabbi Ezra, Mrs. Rachel Laniado, Rabbi Moaz, Rabbi Yaakov, R’ David, Rabbi Avi, Mrs. Esther Ben Hamou, Mrs. Aura Choueka, Mrs. Ruthi Esses and Mrs. Judy Safdeye.
