Lieutenant G., Israel Air Force's first Druze pilot.

Lieutenant G. officially made history Thursday when he graduated from the IAF Pilots’ Course as the first Druze pilot in the Israel Air Force. He has chosen to fly a helicopter.

“You are proof that partnership is in our hearts. You are proof of the determination of the Druze community to lead in every part of the IDF and of the commitment of the State of Israel to every one of its citizens,” President Reuven Rivlin told the young pilot in the course of his remarks during the graduation ceremony.
