The Islamic Movement has become a “state within a state” and at the end of 2012 held $6.6 million, part of which came for foreign NGOs, Reshet Bet (Voice of Israel) radio reported Wednesday.

As reported here, the Security Cabinet has outlawed the organization, and police last night swooped down on its offices and NGOs to confiscate weapons, cash and computers.

NGOs in Turkey and Kuwait helped fatten the assets of the Islamic Movement, supposed a non-profit organization. Turkey’s IHH branch was organized and sent terrorists on the Mavi Mamara ship in 2010 to try to break the maritime embargo clamped on Hamas-controlled Gaza to prevent smuggling of weapons and terrorists.

If investigators can prove that the Islamic Movement, which preaches violence at the Temple Mount, used the money for incitement, indictments will follow.
