The question, of course, is whether or not Trump will actually LISTEN to the well-reasoned advice of his hired experts, much less accept any of what they tell him.

Nevertheless, a majority of Israeli Jews still feel a Republican candidate – Trump, that is – will be better for Israel after the polls close in November’s U.S. presidential elections.

A recent poll conducted by the Israel Democracy Institute (IDI) found that 34 percent of Israeli Jews felt a GOP candidate would be better for Israel. Only 28 percent said a Democrat would be better; 13 percent said that it makes no difference.

Of those who chose Republicans, 61 percent believe GOP candidate Donald Trump would be “very friendly” or “moderately friendly” towards Israel – only 14 percent do not agree.

Of the two Democratic candidates, 40.5 percent of those surveyed said Hillary Clinton would be “better for Israel.” Bernie Sanders trailed with only 16.5 percent choosing him as a better option.
